How to Give the Best Gift this Holiday Season

My love language is gift giving and here are some of my personal tips on how to give the best gift. This is actually an ongoing process all year round. Make sure to be attentive to anything your loved ones express an interest in and take out your notes app and add it to a list of each person with their favorite things. This includes favorite colors for gift wrapping and creating a theme for the gift. I like to make all gifts as thoughtful as possible and unique to each person.

If your friends or family members are quiet about what they want or don't know what they want (and there's always that one), another trick is to look at what they save on their Pinterest. This is one of my secret ways to get them items they actually want. An additional strategy for gift giving or Secret Santas that is direct and easy is setting up an Elfster. Each person adds to their wishlist with direct links including sizes and specific color so that you do not have to guess this holiday season. On Tik Tok, a big trend is creating powerpoints of wishlists, but another great way to get exactly what you want with easy to find links is creating an Amazon shopping list and sending it to your family.

For the friend who just bought a new house who doesn't know what she needs so I had to think of ideas for her! This gift was for a combined Friendsgiving/Housewarming party. She loves the color pink, reading, red wine, and cats so I incorporated each of those key items into the basket as well as items every new homeowner needs!
